Embossed mica sheet
(product under development)

Embossed mica sheet is a highly insulating sheet manufactured by adding a convex and concave surface pattern to a flexible mica sheet by means of an embossing process. The result is an extremely safe product that delivers high insulation and heat resistance without generating dust that's harmful for the human body. It can be used as an alternative to fiber-type insulation such as RCF.

Characteristics

  1. (1) The product delivers high insulation and thermal-blocking properties.
  2. (2) It also offers high heat and flame resistance.
  3. (3) Since the sheet is made from mica, it has electrically insulating properties.
  4. (4) Excellent flexibility at room temperature allows the product to be formed into the desired shape.
  5. (5) The product is also available in a heat-treated type with excellent compressive strength.

Applications

  1. (1)As a material to prevent the spread of fire on circuit boards and batteries
  2. (2)As an alternative to fiber-type insulation for use in hot environments
