PRIVACY POLICY

Okabe Mica Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, the Company) shall define our privacy policies (hereinafter, Our Policies) regarding the handling of the personal information of our users for the services provided on our website as stated below.

Article 1 (Personal information)
"Personal information" shall mean "personal information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Law of Japan, and is information on living individuals, which can identify a specific individual by the name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions contained in the information, as well as information such as data on physical appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and health insurance card number, which can identify the specific individual from the information alone (personal identification information).

Article 4 (Revision of the purposes of use)

When the purposes of use are revised, the revised purposes of use shall be notified to users in specified ways or publicized through our website.

Article 5 (Provision of personal information to third parties)
The Company shall not provide personal information to any third parties without the prior consent of the user with the exception as described below. However, applicable cases for the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations shall be excepted.
A case where the protection of human life, human body, or property is necessary and it is difficult to obtain consent from the relevant person.
A case where there are any special needs for improvement in public health and the promotion of the healthy development of children and it is difficult to obtain consent from the relevant person.
A case where any national government agency, local government agency, or person in charge of their outsourced work requests cooperation so that they can implement what are specified by laws and regulations, and there may be a risk affecting their implementation if the Company attempts to obtain consent from the relevant person.
A case where the Company previously notifies or publicizes the following matters and the Company submits a notice to the Personal Information Protection Committee.
Matters of the purposes of use including provision to third parties.
Items of data to be provided to third parties.
Procedures or methods to provide information to third parties.
Ceasing the provision of personal information to third parties at a relevant person’s request.
Methods to accept requests from a relevant person.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the provision of such information shall not fall under any of the following cases.
A case where the Company outsources the handling of personal information, in whole or part, within the scope necessary for achieving the purposes of use.
A case where the personal information is to be provided in association with business succession due to merger or other reasons.
A case where the personal information is used jointly between the Company and a specified party, and a relevant person is previously informed or under the situation the said person may easily know about shared use of the personal information with a specified party, items for shared use in the personal information, the scope of persons who share its use, the name of a responsible individual or corporation for the purposes of use and management of the relevant personal information.

Article 6 (Disclosure of personal information)
The Company shall promptly disclose the personal information to a relevant person when the relevant person requests disclosure of the personal information. However, the Company may not disclose the personal information, in whole or in part, if disclosure applies in a case falling under either of following items. If the Company decides not to disclose, the Company shall promptly give notification of that delay. When disclosing personal information, a fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged.
A case where there may be a risk that damages life, body, property, or other rights and interests of a relevant person or a third party.
A case where there may be a risk that hazardously affects the appropriate implementation of operations in the Company.
Other cases where disclosure breaches laws and regulations.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, we will not disclose any information other than personal information such as history information and characteristic information.

Article 7 (Correction and deletion of personal information)
If the personal information held by the Company is incorrect information, the user may request correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as Correction) of the personal information to the Company by the procedure specified by the Company.
If the Company receives a request from a user and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall make Correction on the personal information without delay.
We will notify the user without delay when we make Corrections based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph or when we decide not to make Corrections.

Article 8 (suspension of the use of personal information, etc.)
The Company shall promptly conduct necessary investigations if requested by a relevant person to cease the use of personal information or delete it (hereinafter, Stop Using) because the personal information is used beyond the scope of the purposes of use or obtained by wrongful means.
If it is determined that it is necessary to respond to the request based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, the Company will Stop Using the personal information without delay.
If the Company Stops Using or otherwise decides not to Stop Using in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Company will notify the user without delay.
Notwithstanding the conditions of the two preceding paragraphs, in cases where there are large costs related to Stop Using or other cases where it is difficult to Stop Using, etc., necessary alternative measures to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken. In this case, we will take this alternative.

Article 9 (Modification of privacy policies)
The contents of Our Policy may be revised without notice, except where otherwise specified in laws and regulations or Our Policy.
Except where the Company has specified otherwise, revised privacy policies shall be effective upon posting on our website.
